THE SYLLABUS IS ALIVE!_

22 November 2019 welcome to the syllabus. this newsfeed page will contain the news, updates, and ramblings that don’t quite fit in the other pages
TBD/IRL CHATROOM_

27 January 2020 the TBD/IRL chatroom was successful, I think. Got the chance to chat with Igor Bragado from Common Accounts and Amelyn Ng. To check out the slides summarizing deschooling so far visit this link. Also, here’s a link to the script.
DIGITAL PIN UP_

13 February 2020first group “pin-up” for TBD/IRL (no printing was involved). We got to chat with Laida Aguirre, Steven Lauritano, Matīss Groskaufmanis, and Ann Lui. I used my website to present and here’s a link to the schpeal.
SOMETHING SOMEWHAT LIKE A MIDTERM_

24 February 2019 it is midterm time! Deschooling through Media’s midterm non-crit has been deschooled for the first time by Eduardo Mediero of Hanghar !! Eduardo was the most excellent of homies and the first volunteer to navigate the website while I did some commentary. This non-linear learning experience/ experiment was successful, I think. The rest of the critics were also super helpful and rad. Thank you so much to Julia McMorrough, Claudia Wigger and Bryan Boyer for your helpful comments!
TBD/IRL FEATURED ON ARCHINECT_

11 March 2019Studio culture is undergoing some radical changes due to corona virus threats. Cyrus was interviewed by Archinect regarding our experience using blue jeans for studio crits. I’m the one in the bottom left sporting the latest jet lag/red-eye fashion 😎️
NO MORE IRL!_

13 March 2019 In light of COVID-19 threats, the university has decided to transition to 100% online learning. Facilities, such as the FabLab, will close for the remainder of the semester. TBD/IRL will be meeting through alternative formats such as Blue Jeans and Zoom from now on. Some semi-drastic changes to the Deschooling through Media statement. Intersting and challenging challenges ahead!
